Plans for update 0.16


Hey everyone! After a bit of a break from developing B.D. i'm back to continue working on the game. I've got some plans for it's near future and to better motivate myself i'm announcing what stuff is (most likely) going to be in the next update:

  • A brand new monster. I won't spoil you what will it be but you probably should expect something sneaky (:
  • New items: skeleton not-key, something new for the equipment slot, a light producing device that uses batteries (most likely something like a flashlight)
  • More products in VendiGO's store including stuff from the new update and some items that already exist in game
  • New regular levels and intermission levels
  • Accessibility improvements: unobtrusive player's ability keys reminder* (can be disabled) and exit key room texture improvements for color blind people
  • The more time spent with closed eyes the more visible the "breeze" coming from the exit door will become 
  • And maybe something more, not entirely sure yet what but we'll see.

* I've noticed that many (or even probably all of) new players tend to forget about some of their abilities. Especially closing eyes and kicking. So i've decided that i'm going to add an option to enable a small HUD element that makes sure you remember your abilities and their key bindings. This option will be enabled by default but you will be able to disable it in options if you would find it distracting.

Also i'll be slowly preparing to add the Endless Mode but for now no idea when it will come out. Global stuff like this needs big attention. 

Also also big thanks to all the people played my game and people commented it! It is my biggest project yet and the feedback is very important for me. Not sure how much will it take to make that update so i won't make any promises about that.
