Brightest Darkness (Alpha Demo)

Welcome to the world of horrors. BRIGHTEST DARKNESS is a challenging first person pixelated rogue-like survival horror. Something terribly wrong happened here... Monsters are everywhere, no signs of any survivors, you are completely on your own. Is there any hope to escape this nightmare land?

- FIND AND ESCAPE: The goal is very simple: Find the key for the exit door and escape. The twist is that every level is randomized and will contain different monsters and objects. Expect the unexpected.

- BIG VARIETY OF MONSTERS: Every monster has their own patterns. Some of them together make deadly combos. The deeper you go, the deadlier thing become... Be observant and you will find ways to fight or evade them.

- USE YOUR ABILITIES: Sneak past monsters. Closing eyes negates vision effects. Talking device is used to communicate with some things. Kick to stun for a short moment. Mark places where you've been with your spray paint. Use various unique items you find on the level.

- MORE NIGHTMARES TO COME: There will always be something left to find. Mysteries will be waiting to be solved. There is so much more to find and much much more stuff will be added in the future. Stay tuned for new updates.

Current version contains: 34 unique items, 14 unique monster types (including a boss), 2 difficulties, a tutorial level and more.

2023 edit: this version is extremely outdated. the difficulty isn't adjusted properly so don't think you're bad, it's just really unfair. keep that in mind. 

i could probably update the demo, but honestly i just don't care and i don't think it's worth the effort and time. to be honest, i would've probably deleted this demo completely because of it being unbalanced and not representing the final game, idk.
